Natalie of Serbia

Natalija Obrenović, known as Natalie of Serbia, was born on May fifteenth, eighteen fifty-nine, into an esteemed noble family in Moldavia. Her lineage, the Keshko family, was well-regarded, and she would go on to become a prominent figure in Serbian history.

From eighteen seventy-five to eighteen eighty-two, Natalie held the title of Princess of Serbia, and subsequently, she became Queen of Serbia from eighteen eighty-two until eighteen eighty-nine as the wife of Milan I of Serbia. During her youth, she was celebrated for her beauty, earning her a reputation as one of the most stunning queens in Europe.

Despite her royal status, Natalie chose a path of devotion later in life, becoming a nun. Her journey from a revered queen to a life of spiritual commitment reflects her complex character and the transformative experiences she encountered throughout her life.
