Natalya Naryshkina

Natalya Naryshkina, born on September first, sixteen fifty-one, was a prominent figure in Russian history, serving as the Tsaritsa from sixteen seventy-one to sixteen seventy-six as the second wife of Tsar Alexis I of Russia. Her influence extended beyond her role as Tsaritsa, as she became a pivotal political figure during her son's reign.

As the mother of Tsar Peter I, Natalya first assumed the role of regent on May seventh, sixteen eighty-two, during Peter's minority. However, her regency was short-lived, as she was deposed by her stepdaughter Sophia just eight days later. Despite this setback, Natalya's political acumen allowed her to reclaim her position in August sixteen eighty-nine after Sophia's deposition.

Natalya Naryshkina's second regency was marked by her dedication to her son's upbringing and the stability of the Russian state. She continued to serve as regent until her death in sixteen ninety-four, leaving a lasting legacy as a mother and a leader in a tumultuous period of Russian history.
