Natasha Zvereva

Natasha Zvereva, born on April 16, 1971, is a distinguished former professional tennis player hailing from Belarus. She made history as the first major athlete in the Soviet Union to publicly advocate for the right to retain her tournament earnings, a bold move that paved the way for future generations of athletes.

Throughout her career, Zvereva achieved remarkable success, particularly in women's doubles. Partnering with Gigi Fernández, she formed one of the most formidable teams in the sport's history. Together, they amassed an impressive collection of titles, surpassing the achievements of legendary duos like Martina Navratilova and Pam Shriver.
