Nathan McIver, born on January sixth, nineteen eighty-five, is a former professional ice hockey defenceman from Canada. He began his career in the Ontario Hockey League, where he showcased his skills and tenacity, ultimately being drafted two hundred fifty-fourth overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the two thousand three NHL Entry Draft.
During his time in the National Hockey League, McIver played for both the Vancouver Canucks and the Anaheim Ducks. Known for his role as an agitator and fighter on the ice, he made a name for himself as a player who was not afraid to stand up for his teammates and engage in physical play.
After retiring from professional play, McIver transitioned into coaching, taking on the role of assistant coach for the Newfoundland Growlers in the ECHL. As of the twenty twenty-three to twenty twenty-four season, he has joined the Ottawa Senators organization, serving as an assistant coach with the Belleville Senators.
