Navid Khonsari

Navid Khonsari, born in 1970, is a prominent Iranian-Canadian creative director, writer, and visionary in the realms of video games, virtual and mixed reality, film, and graphic novels. His diverse talents have made significant contributions to the entertainment industry, particularly in interactive media.

Khonsari's career includes notable work at Rockstar Games, where he played a pivotal role in the development of iconic titles such as Grand Theft Auto III and Max Payne. His expertise in storytelling and game design has earned him recognition and respect among peers and fans alike.

As the co-founder of iNK Stories, Khonsari has continued to push the boundaries of narrative-driven gaming. The studio is celebrated for its groundbreaking title, 1979 Revolution: Black Friday, and the enchanting game Lili, which made history by premiering its prequel at Cannes in 2025, marking the first time a video game was featured in competition at this prestigious film festival.
