Nayantara Sahgal

Nayantara Sahgal, born on May tenth, nineteen twenty-seven, is a distinguished Indian writer and journalist known for her contributions to English literature. As a member of the prominent Nehru–Gandhi family, she is the second of three daughters born to Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit, who was the sister of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.
