Neal Mohan

Neal Mohan, an accomplished American business executive, has been at the helm of YouTube as its chief executive officer since 2023, following the tenure of Susan Wojcicki. Born on July fourteenth, nineteen seventy-two, in Lafayette, Indiana, Mohan's early years were spent in the United States before his family relocated to India in nineteen eighty-five. He returned to the U.S. in nineteen ninety-two to pursue higher education at Stanford University, where he majored in electrical engineering and graduated in nineteen ninety-six.

His professional journey began at Accenture, after which he joined a startup named NetGravity, quickly establishing himself as a key player within the organization. In two thousand three, Mohan returned to Stanford to earn his MBA, coinciding with significant challenges faced by NetGravity's parent company, DoubleClick. Enlisted by David Rosenblatt, the new CEO of DoubleClick, in two thousand five, Mohan played a pivotal role in reorienting the company during a tumultuous period.

DoubleClick's acquisition by Google in two thousand seven marked a significant milestone in Mohan's career, largely influenced by Susan Wojcicki. Over the next fifteen years, he collaborated closely with Wojcicki, culminating in his appointment as Chief Product Officer of YouTube in two thousand fifteen.
