Necrobutcher

Necrobutcher, born on April thirteenth, nineteen sixty-eight, is a prominent Norwegian musician renowned for his role as the bassist in the influential black metal band Mayhem. Under this stage name, he has carved out a significant niche in the heavy metal scene, contributing to the genre's evolution and notoriety.

As one of the founding members of Mayhem, alongside Euronymous and Manheim, Necrobutcher has witnessed the band's tumultuous history firsthand. He remains the only original member still active in the band, following Manheim's departure in nineteen eighty-eight and the tragic murder of Euronymous in nineteen ninety-three.

In addition to his work with Mayhem, Necrobutcher has collaborated with various other musical projects, showcasing his versatility as a bassist. His contributions can be heard in bands such as L.E.G.O., Kvikksølvguttene, and as a guest artist with Bloodthorn and Checker Patrol, further solidifying his reputation in the metal community.
