Neophyte of Bulgaria

Neophyte of Bulgaria, born on October fifteenth, nineteen forty-five, was a prominent figure in the Eastern Orthodox Church, serving as a university teacher, bishop, and priest. His dedication to the faith and education shaped the spiritual landscape of Bulgaria.

On February twenty-fourth, two thousand thirteen, he ascended to the esteemed position of Patriarch of All Bulgaria, becoming the head of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. His leadership was marked by a commitment to unity and spiritual growth within the church until his passing on March thirteenth, two thousand twenty-four.

Before his election as Patriarch, Neophyte held significant roles within the church, including Metropolitan Bishop of Ruse from two thousand one to two thousand thirteen, and Bishop of Dorostol and Cherven from nineteen ninety-four to two thousand one. His journey through these ranks showcased his unwavering dedication to his faith and community.
