Néstor Togneri, born on November twenty-seventh, nineteen forty-two, was a prominent Argentine footballer and coach, renowned for his defensive prowess on the field. He began his career at Club Atlético Platense, where he made his debut in the junior team in nineteen fifty-seven and played until nineteen sixty-seven. His journey continued as he joined Estudiantes de La Plata in nineteen sixty-eight, where he would become a key figure in the club's history.

During his tenure at Estudiantes, which lasted until nineteen seventy-five, Togneri played primarily as a central defender or defensive midfielder.
