Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah

Ndemupelila Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, born on October twenty-ninth, nineteen fifty-two, is a prominent Namibian politician who has made history as the first female president of Namibia, assuming office on March twenty-first, twenty twenty-five. Her political journey spans an impressive fifty-seven years, during which she has held various high-level positions within the SWAPO party and the Namibian government.

Before her presidency, Nandi-Ndaitwah served as the third vice president under President Nangolo Mbumba from twenty twenty-four to twenty twenty-five. She made her mark as the first female presidential candidate for SWAPO in twenty twenty-four, showcasing her leadership and commitment to advancing women's representation in politics.

Her extensive experience includes serving as the deputy prime minister of Namibia from twenty fifteen to twenty twenty-four, and as the minister of International Relations and Cooperation from December twenty twelve to twenty fifteen.
