Nguyễn Phú Trọng

Nguyễn Phú Trọng, born on April fourteenth, nineteen forty-four, was a prominent Vietnamese politician and political theorist who played a pivotal role in the country's governance. He served as the general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam from two thousand eleven until his passing in two thousand twenty-four, establishing himself as Vietnam's paramount leader. His leadership extended to the party's Secretariat, Politburo, and Central Military Commission, showcasing his influence in shaping Vietnam's political landscape.

Trọng's political journey began when he joined the Communist Party of Vietnam in nineteen sixty-seven, where he quickly ascended through the ranks dedicated to political work. By nineteen ninety-four, he became a member of the party's Central Committee, followed by his induction into the Politburo in nineteen ninety-seven and the National Assembly in two thousand two. His tenure as Party Secretary for Hanoi from two thousand to two thousand six marked a significant period in his career, culminating in his role as Chairman of the National Assembly from two thousand six to two thousand eleven.

In two thousand eighteen, following the death of President Trần Đại Quang, Trọng made history by becoming the third individual to simultaneously lead both the party and the state, joining the ranks of Hồ Chí Minh and Trường Chinh.
