Her most notable achievement came as the chief diplomat for the Viet Cong, where she led the delegation to the Paris Peace Conference. This pivotal role not only brought her international acclaim but also marked her as the only woman among the signatories of the 1973 peace accords, which effectively ended American intervention in the Vietnam War.
