Nicholas Gilman

Nicholas Gilman Jr. was born on August 3, 1755, and emerged as a prominent figure in early American history. As a soldier in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, he demonstrated his commitment to the cause of independence. His dedication to the nation continued as he became a delegate to the Continental Congress, where he played a crucial role in shaping the future of the United States.

Gilman's influence extended beyond the Revolutionary War; he was a signer of the U.S. Constitution, representing New Hampshire.
