Nicholas Ifill, born on November twenty-fourth, nineteen sixty-eight, is a distinguished cricketer who hails from Barbados but represents Canada on the international stage. As a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler, he has made significant contributions to the sport throughout his career.
Ifill's cricketing journey began with his participation in the 1988–89 Under-19s World Cup held in Australia. His talent was further recognized when he served as a standby player for Canada during the 1997 ICC Trophy. His performance in the 2000 Americas Cup against Bermuda was particularly noteworthy, where he claimed three wickets for seventy-eight runs, earning him the prestigious man of the match award.
In the same year, Ifill showcased his skills in the Red Stripe Bowl, where he played against formidable teams such as Trinidad and Tobago and the United States. Notably, he conceded only eleven runs in seven overs against Trinidad and Tobago and achieved remarkable figures of three wickets for twenty-two runs against the US, including a hat trick.
Throughout his career, Ifill has represented Canada in three matches during the 2003 Cricket World Cup. Although his appearances for the national team have been limited since then, with just three matches played in total, including two in the 2005 ICC Intercontinental Cup and a One Day International against Kenya in 2006, he continues to play for Victoria Park in the Toronto and District League.
