Brigadier General Nick Hague, born on September twenty-fourth, nineteen seventy-five, is a distinguished military officer and retired NASA astronaut. Selected as part of the 2013 astronaut class, Hague has made significant contributions to space exploration and the United States Space Force.
His inaugural spaceflight occurred aboard Soyuz MS-10 on October eleventh, two thousand eighteen, although this mission was aborted shortly after launch. Undeterred, Hague embarked on his second mission, Soyuz MS-12, which successfully launched on March fourteenth, two thousand nineteen. During this mission, he served as a flight engineer for Expedition fifty-nine and sixty aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
In addition to his roles in space, Hague later commanded SpaceX Crew-9, a mission that transported the crew of Expedition seventy-two to the ISS. This mission culminated in the safe return of astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore to Earth on March eighteenth, two thousand twenty-five, marking another milestone in Hague's illustrious career.
