Nico (Romanian singer)

Nicoleta Matei, widely recognized by her stage name Nico, was born on February 1, 1970, in Romania. She has made a significant mark in the music industry as a talented singer and TV personality. Over the years, Nico has collaborated with a variety of prominent Romanian hip hop artists, including Morometzii in 1999, B.U.G. Mafia in 2000 and 2002, and Cabron in 2003, 2007, and 2010. Her versatility and unique style have allowed her to thrive in a competitive musical landscape.

In 2008, Nico represented Romania at the prestigious Eurovision Song Contest alongside Vlad, performing the captivating song "Pe-o margine de lume."
