Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Nicolás Bravo

Nicolás Bravo, born on September tenth, seventeen eighty-six, was a prominent figure in Mexican history, serving as both a soldier and a politician. His early career was marked by his participation in the Mexican War of Independence, where he distinguished himself as a capable leader. Following this, he became Mexico's first Vice President under President Guadalupe Victoria from eighteen twenty-four to eighteen twenty-seven.

During his vice presidency, Bravo attempted to overthrow President Victoria through the Plan of Montaño in eighteen twenty-seven. Although his revolt failed, his contributions during the War of Independence earned him a reprieve from severe consequences, leading to his exile instead.

Bravo's political journey saw him return to Mexico, where he served as interim President on three occasions: in eighteen thirty-nine, eighteen forty-two, and eighteen forty-six. Notably, during his second term, he oversaw the transition from the Centralist Republic of Mexico to a new constitutional framework known as the Bases Orgánicas.

His military career continued as he commanded Mexican forces during the Mexican–American War, particularly at the Battle of Chapultepec, further solidifying his legacy as a key figure in the nation's tumultuous history.
