Nicole Fiorentino, born on April seventh, nineteen seventy-nine, is a talented American musician known for her exceptional skills as a bassist and singer. With a career that spans several notable alternative rock bands, she has made a significant impact on the music scene.
Fiorentino first gained recognition as a member of Veruca Salt, where she replaced Eva Gardner before the recording of the band's album, IV, in two thousand six. Her contributions to the band continued until the release of their final album, Ghost Notes, in two thousand fifteen, after which she was succeeded by founding member Steve Lack. However, her musical journey with Veruca Salt did not end there, as she made a return to collaborate on Louise Post's debut solo album, Sleepwalker, and participated in the corresponding tour in two thousand twenty-three.
In addition to her work with Veruca Salt, Fiorentino also became a prominent figure in the Smashing Pumpkins. She joined the band in two thousand ten, replacing Ginger Pooley and her temporary replacement, Mark Tulin. As an official member, she contributed to the EP Teargarden by Kaleidyscope in two thousand eleven and the album Oceania in two thousand twelve. Fiorentino's tenure with the Smashing Pumpkins came to a close in two thousand fourteen, marking another chapter in her dynamic career.
