Nikenike Vurobaravu

Nikenike Vurobaravu, born on December third, nineteen fifty-one, is a distinguished ni-Vanuatu diplomat and politician. He has been serving as the President of Vanuatu since July twenty-third, two thousand twenty-two, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Before ascending to the presidency, Vurobaravu held various prominent diplomatic and governmental roles. Notably, he was the first resident High Commissioner to Fiji, a position that underscored his commitment to fostering international relations and diplomacy.

His election as president came during the eighth round of the two thousand twenty-two Vanuatu presidential election, where he was chosen to lead the nation. Vurobaravu is a dedicated member of the Vanua'aku Pati (VP) political party, reflecting his deep-rooted involvement in Vanuatu's political landscape.
