Nina Dobrev

Nikolina Kamenova Dobreva, widely recognized as Nina Dobrev, was born on January 9, 1989, in Sofia, Bulgaria, and later moved to Toronto, Canada. She began her career in the entertainment industry with minor roles in various films, but it was her portrayal of Mia Jones in the acclaimed drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation from 2006 to 2009 that marked her breakthrough.

Dobrev gained international fame for her dual roles as Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce in The CW's supernatural drama series The Vampire Diaries, which aired from 2009 to 2015. This role not only showcased her acting prowess but also solidified her status as a prominent figure in the television landscape.

In addition to her television success, Nina has appeared in several feature films, including the coming-of-age drama The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), the comedies Let's Be Cops and The Final Girls (2014), and the science-fiction thriller Flatliners (2017). Her most significant commercial success came with the action film XXX: Return of Xander Cage in 2017.
