Nina Haver-Løseth, born on February twenty-seventh, nineteen eighty-nine, is a retired Norwegian alpine ski racer renowned for her expertise in slalom and giant slalom events. Hailing from Ålesund in Møre og Romsdal, she has made significant contributions to the sport, representing the Spjelkavik IL club.
Her journey in competitive skiing began with her World Cup debut in February two thousand six. After years of dedication and hard work, Haver-Løseth achieved her first podium finish in a slalom race at Zagreb in January two thousand fifteen. This marked a pivotal moment in her career, showcasing her talent on an international stage.
In January two thousand sixteen, she celebrated a remarkable milestone by securing her first World Cup victory in slalom at Santa Caterina. This achievement was particularly noteworthy as it made her the first Norwegian woman to win a World Cup slalom since Trine Bakke, who accomplished this feat almost exactly sixteen years prior.
