Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Nivek Ogre

Kevin Graham Ogilvie, known to the world as Nivek Ogre, was born on December 5, 1962, in Canada. He is a multifaceted artist, recognized primarily for his contributions to the industrial music scene as a co-founder of the influential group Skinny Puppy. From 1982 to 1996, and again from 2003 to 2023, Ogre served as the band's primary lyricist and vocalist, showcasing his unique guttural vocal style and charismatic stage presence.

Ogre's theatrical performances, characterized by elaborate costumes, props, and the use of fake blood, played a significant role in expanding Skinny Puppy's fanbase and have left a lasting impact on the music industry, inspiring countless artists across various genres. In 2001, he ventured into electronic music by forming the group ohGr with collaborator Mark Walk, releasing five studio albums that have achieved notable success on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Ogre has made a name for himself in the film industry, particularly in low-budget horror films. He is perhaps best known for his role as Pavi Largo in the rock opera film Repo! The Genetic Opera and as Harper Alexander in the comedy-horror film 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams. His collaboration with director Darren Lynn Bousman continued with the musical short film The Devil's Carnival and its sequel, Alleluia! The Devil's Carnival.

Ogre's artistic journey is marked by his collaborations with various notable musicians, including Al Jourgensen's bands Ministry and Revolting Cocks, as well as Pigface and KMFDM. In 2014, he further showcased his acting talents in the Canadian film Queen of Blood, solidifying his status as a versatile performer in both music and film.
