No Doubt

Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of No Doubt

No Doubt, an iconic American rock band, emerged from Anaheim, California, in 1986. The group was founded by vocalist Gwen Stefani, who remains a central figure, alongside guitarist Tom Dumont, bassist Tony Kanal, and drummer Adrian Young. Initially, keyboardist Eric Stefani, Gwen's brother, contributed to the band's early sound, particularly during their album releases starting in 1992.

Their self-titled debut album in 1992 did not achieve significant success, but the subsequent release, The Beacon Street Collection, in 1995, marked a turning point, selling over one hundred thousand copies. The band's third album, Tragic Kingdom, released later that same year, capitalized on the resurgence of third-wave ska in the 1990s, earning diamond certification. The single 'Don't Speak' made history by dominating the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart for sixteen weeks, while 'Just a Girl' became a defining anthem of the era.

In 2000, No Doubt released Return of Saturn, which, despite not reaching the heights of its predecessor, garnered critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album. The following year, they embraced reggae and dancehall influences with Rock Steady, recorded primarily in Jamaica. This album produced two Grammy-winning singles, 'Hey Baby' and 'Underneath It All', with 'Hella Good' also receiving a nomination.

After a successful tour in 2004, the band members ventured into solo projects, with Gwen Stefani achieving notable success with her albums Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and The Sweet Escape. In 2008, No Doubt began working on their sixth studio album, Push and Shove, which was released in 2012, featuring the lead single 'Settle Down'. To date, the band has sold over thirty-three million records worldwide and has announced a reunion for a twelve-show residency in Las Vegas in 2026.
