Nocturno Culto

Nocturno Culto, born on March fourth, nineteen seventy-two, is a prominent figure in the black metal scene, best known as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the influential band Darkthrone. Since joining the band in nineteen eighty-eight, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the genre, contributing to its raw and authentic sound.

In addition to his work with Darkthrone, Nocturno Culto is the vocalist for the band Sarke and has embarked on a solo project titled Gift of Gods. His diverse musical endeavors showcase his versatility and passion for creating compelling music that resonates with fans around the world.

Beyond his musical career, Nocturno Culto has taken on the role of a school teacher in Norway, where he balances his artistic pursuits with a commitment to education. He is a dedicated father to a son and a daughter, nurturing the next generation while continuing to explore his creative passions.

He has also ventured into filmmaking, releasing a documentary titled The Misanthrope, which delves into the intricacies of black metal music and life in Norway. This project reflects his deep connection to the culture and the music that has defined his career.
