Nojim Maiyegun

Nojim Maiyegun, born on February 17, 1941, in Lagos, Nigeria, was a distinguished boxer who made history as Nigeria's first Olympic medalist. His remarkable achievement came during the 1964 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, where he secured a bronze medal in the men's Light Middleweight (71 kg) category.
