Normani Kordei Hamilton, known mononymously as Normani, was born on May 31, 1996. She is an accomplished American singer, dancer, and songwriter who first gained fame as a member of the iconic girl group Fifth Harmony. This group achieved remarkable success, becoming one of the best-selling girl groups in history. During her time with Fifth Harmony, Normani showcased her exceptional dancing skills by competing in the popular television show Dancing with the Stars in 2017.

In 2018, Normani embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut single 'Love Lies' in collaboration with Khalid. The track not only peaked within the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 but also received quintuple platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Following the group's indefinite hiatus, she teamed up with Calvin Harris for a two-song EP, Normani x Calvin Harris, further solidifying her presence in the music industry.
