Nubar Pasha

Nubar Pasha, born in January eighteen twenty-five, was a prominent Egyptian-Armenian diplomat and politician who made significant contributions to the political landscape of Egypt. He is best remembered as the first Prime Minister of Egypt, a role he held during three distinct terms throughout his career.

His inaugural term as Prime Minister commenced in August eighteen seventy-eight and concluded on the twenty-third of February eighteen seventy-nine. This initial period set the stage for his later influence in Egyptian politics.

Nubar Pasha returned to the premiership for a second term from the tenth of January eighteen eighty-four until the ninth of June eighteen eighty-eight. His leadership during this time was marked by efforts to modernize the administration and navigate the complexities of Egyptian governance.

His final term spanned from the sixteenth of April eighteen ninety-four to the twelfth of November eighteen ninety-five, further solidifying his legacy as a key figure in Egypt's political history.
