Nyck de Vries, born on February sixth, nineteen ninety-five, in Uitwellingerga, Netherlands, is a prominent racing automobile driver known for his versatility across various racing disciplines. He began his journey in competitive kart racing at the tender age of nine, quickly establishing himself as a formidable talent. De Vries achieved remarkable success in karting, securing back-to-back victories at the senior World Championship in two thousand ten and two thousand eleven.

Transitioning to junior formulae, de Vries joined the McLaren Young Driver Programme, where he honed his skills from two thousand ten to two thousand nineteen. His first major triumph came in two thousand fourteen when he clinched the Formula Renault Eurocup championship with Koiranen. Following this, he showcased his prowess by finishing third in the two thousand fifteen Formula Renault 3.5 Series and winning multiple races in the two thousand sixteen GP3 Series.

In two thousand seventeen, de Vries made his mark in the inaugural season of FIA Formula 2, ultimately winning the championship in his third season while driving for ART. That same year, he ventured into sportscar racing, competing in the LMP2 class of the FIA World Endurance Championship with Nederland, where he celebrated his first class victory at Fuji the following season.

De Vries's career took a significant turn when he joined the newly established Mercedes team in Formula E in two thousand nineteen.
