Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of O. J. Mayo

Ovinton J'Anthony "O.J." Mayo, born on November 5, 1987, is a former professional basketball player from the United States. He began his basketball journey at the University of Southern California, where he played a single season for the USC Trojans. During his time there, he earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors, showcasing his talent on the court. However, his college career was marred by controversy when he was retroactively declared ineligible due to receiving improper benefits, leading to the vacating of all the Trojans' wins from the 2007–08 season.

In 2008, Mayo entered the NBA draft and was selected as the third overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves. His career took a significant turn when he was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, where he spent four seasons, establishing himself as a notable player in the league. In 2012, he signed with the Dallas Mavericks, followed by a stint with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2013, further expanding his professional experience.

Despite his promising career, Mayo faced a setback in July 2016 when he was banned from the NBA for violating the league's anti-drug program. After a two-year hiatus from professional basketball, he made a comeback with Atléticos de San Germán in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) in Puerto Rico, demonstrating his resilience and passion for the game.
