Obafemi Akinwunmi Martins, born on 28 October 1984, is a retired Nigerian professional footballer renowned for his dynamic play as a forward. His journey in football began at the young age of sixteen when he left Nigeria for Italy, where he joined the prestigious Serie A club Inter Milan in 2002. Martins made a significant impact at Inter Milan, winning the Serie A title, the Italian Cup on two occasions, and the Italian Super Cup.
