Oleg I of Chernigov

Oleg I of Chernigov, born in the year one thousand fifty-two, was a notable prince from Kievan Rus whose life was marked by a series of complex and often tumultuous adventures. His reign as Prince of Chernigov spanned from one thousand ninety-four to one thousand ninety-seven, a period during which he played a significant role in the political landscape of the region.

Following his time in Chernigov, Oleg ascended to the position of Prince of Novgorod-Seversk, where he ruled from one thousand ninety-seven until one thousand one hundred fifteen.
