Olga Zaitseva

Olga Zaitseva, born on May sixteenth, nineteen seventy-eight, is a distinguished former Russian biathlete whose career began in nineteen ninety-four. With a passion for the sport, she quickly made a name for herself in the competitive world of biathlon.

After a remarkable journey through various competitions, Zaitseva took a break from the sport during the 2014–15 season. This hiatus led to a significant announcement on January twenty-fourth, two thousand fifteen, when she declared her retirement from professional biathlon.

Following her retirement, Zaitseva transitioned into coaching, taking on the role of caretaker head coach for the Russian biathlon team. Her extensive experience and knowledge of the sport have positioned her as a valuable asset in nurturing the next generation of athletes.
