Oliver Ivanović

Oliver Ivanović, born on April first, nineteen fifty-three, was a prominent Kosovo Serb politician and economist. His career was marked by significant contributions to the political landscape of Kosovo, particularly during a tumultuous period in the region's history.

From two thousand one to two thousand eight, Ivanović played a crucial role as a member of the Coordination Center for Kosovo and Metohija. His dedication to the region's governance led to his appointment as the State Secretary of the Ministry for Kosovo and Metohija, a position he held from two thousand eight until two thousand twelve.

Tragically, Ivanović's life was cut short when he was assassinated by unknown perpetrators on January sixteenth, two thousand eighteen, in North Mitrovica. His untimely death sent shockwaves through the community and highlighted the ongoing challenges faced in the region.
