Olivier Kemeid

Olivier Kemeid, a distinguished Canadian playwright and theatre director, hails from the vibrant cultural landscape of Quebec. Born in Montreal to Egyptian immigrant parents, he has carved a niche for himself in the world of French-language drama. Kemeid's academic journey began with studies in political science and philosophy, which he later complemented with formal training in playwrighting at the National Theatre School of Canada.

Throughout his career, Kemeid has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to theatre, earning three nominations for the prestigious Governor General's Award for French-language drama.
