Oludamola Osayomi, born on June 26, 1986, is a distinguished Nigerian sprinter renowned for her prowess in the 100 metres and 200 metres events. With a remarkable athletic career, she has secured four gold medals at the African Championships in Athletics, showcasing her dominance on the continental stage.
Her most notable achievement came during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where she contributed to Nigeria's success by winning a silver medal in the 4×100 metres relay. Additionally, Osayomi excelled at the 2007 All-Africa Games, clinching gold in both the 100 and 200 metre sprints, further solidifying her status as a top-tier athlete.
In 2011, she recorded her personal best in the 100 metres with an impressive time of 10.99 seconds in São Paulo. Her academic journey took her to the University of Texas at El Paso, where she studied business administration and represented the university in athletics in 2006.
