Fasuba's athletic journey reached a significant milestone during the 2004 Olympic Games, where he was a vital member of the Nigerian team that secured a bronze medal in the 4 × 100 metres relay. That same year, he showcased his dominance on the continental stage by clinching the title at the African Championships in the 100 metres.

In addition to his Olympic success, Fasuba earned a silver medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, finishing just behind the legendary Asafa Powell.
