Oral Roberts

Oral Roberts, born on January twenty-fourth, nineteen eighteen, was a prominent American Charismatic Christian televangelist known for his pioneering role in the Prosperity Gospel Theology. His journey in ministry began in the Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was ordained in nineteen thirty-six. In nineteen sixty-eight, he transitioned to the United Methodist Church, a move that sparked controversy and ultimately led to the revocation of his credentials in nineteen eighty-seven.
