Orest Subtelny

Orest Subtelny, a distinguished Ukrainian-Canadian historian and political scientist, was born on May seventeenth, nineteen forty-one, in Kraków, Poland. His academic journey led him to Harvard University, where he earned his doctorate in nineteen seventy-three, laying the foundation for a prolific career in academia.

From nineteen eighty-two until his retirement in two thousand fifteen, Subtelny served as a Professor in the Departments of History and Political Science at York University in Toronto.
