Óscar Muñoz

Óscar Muñoz, born on May ninth, nineteen ninety-two, is a distinguished Colombian taekwondo athlete who has made his mark on the international stage. He gained recognition for his remarkable performance at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where he secured a bronze medal in the -58 kg weight class. This achievement not only marked a significant milestone for Muñoz but also represented Colombia's fifth Olympic medal at those Games and the first in the sport of taekwondo.

Muñoz's journey in taekwondo began at the age of twelve, showcasing his dedication and passion for the martial art from a young age. His commitment to the sport culminated in his Olympic success, which inspired many aspiring athletes in Colombia.
