Óscar Sonejee, born on March twenty-six, nineteen seventy-six, is a distinguished former professional footballer from Andorra, who made his mark as a midfielder. His football journey began in the youth ranks of Sant Julià, where he honed his skills before embarking on a career that would see him play for several clubs in Andorra.

Throughout his career, Sonejee had notable spells with FC Andorra and Lusitanos, each spanning three separate periods. He also dedicated four years to FC Santa Coloma, contributing significantly to the team's success by helping them secure two Primera Divisió titles. After an illustrious playing career, he hung up his boots at the age of forty in January twenty seventeen during his third tenure with Lusitanos.

On the international stage, Sonejee made his debut for the Andorra national team in nineteen ninety-seven against Estonia. He etched his name in the history books by scoring the goal that earned Andorra its first competitive international point in the year two thousand, when they drew one-one with Malta. His commitment to the national team saw him become the most capped player until two thousand fifteen, when his record was surpassed by Ildefons Lima. After retiring from professional play, Sonejee transitioned into coaching, taking the helm of the Andorra under-seventeen team between two thousand sixteen and two thousand seventeen, further contributing to the development of football in his home country.
