Ötzi

Ötzi, often referred to as The Iceman, is a remarkable figure from the Chalcolithic period, whose natural mummy was discovered on September nineteenth, nineteen ninety-one, in the Ötztal Alps, straddling the border between Austria and Italy. Dating back to between three thousand three hundred fifty and three thousand one hundred five BC, Ötzi stands as Europe's oldest known natural human mummy, providing invaluable insights into the lives of Copper Age Europeans.
