P. T. Usha

P. T. Usha, born on June twenty-seventh, nineteen sixty-four, is a distinguished Indian sports administrator and retired track and field athlete. Hailing from Koothali near Perambra in the Kozhikode district of Kerala, she spent her formative years in Payyoli. Usha has been a prominent figure in Indian athletics since nineteen seventy-nine, earning her the title of the 'Queen of Indian track and field' due to her remarkable achievements.

Throughout her illustrious career, Usha has secured a total of four gold and seven silver medals at the Asian Games, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
