Paco Ignacio Taibo II

Paco Ignacio Taibo II, born Francisco Ignacio Taibo Mahojo on January 11, 1949, is a distinguished Spanish-Mexican writer, journalist, historian, and novelist, who has made significant contributions to the literary landscape of Latin America. Residing in Mexico City, Taibo is celebrated for his innovative approach to crime fiction, having founded the neopolicial genre, which has garnered him recognition both locally and internationally.
