She gained notoriety as a blogger and commentator, particularly for her promotion of birther conspiracy theories regarding President Barack Obama, claiming he was born in Kenya and identifying as a Muslim.

In two thousand six, Geller sparked controversy by reproducing the Danish cartoons of Muhammad on her blog, which led to significant public discourse. Her activism reached a peak in two thousand ten when she spearheaded the campaign against the proposed Park51 Islamic community center, labeling it the 'Ground Zero Mega Mosque.' As the president of Stop Islamization of America, an anti-Muslim organization she co-founded with Robert B. Spencer, Geller has been a vocal opponent of Islamic influence in America.
