Pancho Gonzales

Ricardo Alonso "Pancho" González, born on May 9, 1928, was a legendary American tennis player and coach whose impact on the sport is still felt today. With a remarkable career that spanned several decades, he secured a total of fifteen major singles titles, including two prestigious U.S. National Championships in 1948 and 1949. His prowess on the court was further highlighted by his triumph in thirteen Professional majors and three Tournament of Champions events from 1957 to 1959.
