Panic! at the Disco

Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Panic! at the Disco

Panic! at the Disco emerged from the high school halls of Las Vegas, where drummer Spencer Smith brought together classmates Brendon Urie and Brent Wilson to form a band. Their journey began with the recording of early demos, leading to the release of their debut studio album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, in 2005. The album's breakout single, 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies,' achieved diamond certification in the US, propelling the album to quadruple platinum status.

In 2006, the band faced its first major lineup change when Wilson was dismissed during a world tour, making way for Jon Walker. The subsequent album, Pretty. Odd., released in 2008, showcased a new musical direction, which led to the departure of Ross and Walker, who preferred the band's earlier sound. This left Urie and Smith as the core members, continuing to evolve their style.

As a duo, Urie and Smith released 'New Perspective' for the film Jennifer's Body in 2009 and later welcomed bassist Dallon Weekes into the fold. Their third album, Vices & Virtues, was recorded in 2010, followed by the fourth album, Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!, in 2013. However, Smith's health issues led to his unofficial departure, leaving Urie and Weekes to navigate the band's future.

By 2015, Panic! at the Disco had transformed into Urie's solo project after Smith's official exit. The band released their fifth studio album, Death of a Bachelor, in 2016, followed by Pray for the Wicked in 2018, which featured the hit single 'High Hopes.' Their seventh and final album, Viva Las Vengeance, was released on August 19, 2022. After concluding the Viva Las Vengeance Tour in March 2023, Urie announced the disbandment of Panic! at the Disco, marking the end of an era.
