Paolo Maldini, born on June 26, 1968, is an iconic figure in the world of football, renowned for his exceptional career as a left-back and centre-back. Spending his entire professional journey at AC Milan, he is celebrated as one of the greatest players of all time. Known affectionately as 'Il Capitano', Maldini captained both AC Milan and the Italy national team, leaving an indelible mark on the sport.

Throughout his illustrious career, Maldini amassed an impressive collection of twenty-six trophies with AC Milan, including five UEFA Champions League titles and seven Serie A championships. His remarkable longevity in the game saw him retire at the age of forty-one in 2009, having made a staggering nine hundred and two appearances for the club.
