Bernardino Pérez Elizarán, affectionately known as Pasieguito, was born on May twenty-first, nineteen twenty-five, in Hernani, Guipúzcoa. His journey in the world of football began as a player, where he dedicated eighteen years to the sport, showcasing his talent at three clubs, with notable multiple spells at Valencia CF. During his time with Valencia, he made an impressive two hundred ninety-three appearances and celebrated victories in the Copa del Rey in nineteen forty-nine and nineteen fifty-four.

Transitioning from player to coach, Pasieguito embarked on a remarkable twenty-two-year managerial career. He took the helm at four different clubs, including three distinct periods at Valencia CF.
