Pastor Maldonado, born on March ninth, nineteen eighty-five, is a distinguished Venezuelan former racing driver known for his remarkable career in Formula One from two thousand eleven to two thousand fifteen. His journey in motorsport began with a significant triumph in the GP2 Series in two thousand ten, where he showcased his talent with the Rapax team.

Competing primarily for Williams and later for Lotus, Maldonado etched his name in the annals of racing history by clinching victory at the two thousand twelve Spanish Grand Prix while driving for Williams. This victory not only marked a high point in his career but also made him a celebrated figure in Venezuelan sports.

In two thousand sixteen, Maldonado transitioned from a competitive driver to a test driver for Pirelli after being replaced by Kevin Magnussen at the reformed Renault team.
